Jurnal SIMETRIK is an electronic journal managed through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. The journal has been published electronically since 2017 and assigns Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to its electronic publications to support persistent identification and accessibility of published articles.

The journal's digital preservation practices may be enhanced in accordance with technological developments, publisher policies, and recognized standards for scholarly publishing and digital preservation.

  1. Accessibility of Archived Content

Published articles and journal issues are made available electronically through the Jurnal SIMETRIK website. The journal follows an open-access policy, providing direct access to its published content to support the wider dissemination and exchange of scientific knowledge.

The electronic archive is intended to enable readers and researchers to access previously published scholarly works for research, education, citation, and other legitimate academic purposes.

  1. Data Integrity and Security

The journal seeks to maintain the integrity and authenticity of its electronic publications. Appropriate technical and administrative measures should be applied by the journal and its publisher or hosting institution to protect electronic records against accidental loss, unauthorized alteration, or technical disruption.

Any corrections, retractions, or other changes affecting the published scholarly record should be documented appropriately and associated with the relevant publication.

  1. Continuity of Access

Jurnal SIMETRIK recognizes the importance of maintaining continued access to published scholarly content. In the event of changes to the journal's publishing platform, website infrastructure, or technical environment, reasonable measures should be taken to preserve existing electronic publications, article metadata, DOI information, and publication records.

The journal may adopt additional digital preservation services or mechanisms in the future when such services are formally established and supported by the publisher.

  1. Responsibility

The publisher and editorial team of Jurnal SIMETRIK are responsible for maintaining the journal's electronic publication records and supporting the long-term accessibility of published content in accordance with applicable publishing policies and technical capabilities.

This policy may be reviewed and updated periodically to ensure that the journal's electronic filing and digital preservation practices remain consistent with developments in scholarly publishing and digital preservation.
